      Weyenberg Rites Held at St. John Catholic Church
      Funeral services were held Tuesday for George G. Weyenberg, 79, route 1, Kaukauna, who died suddenly at his home Saturday evening. the cortege formed at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, and rites were conducted at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Rev. Martin Vosbeek officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.George G. Weyenberg was born October 8,1888 in the town of Vanden Broek, Mr. Weyenberg owned and operated a farm in that area until his retirement 10 years ago . He was a member of the Holy Name Society .

      Survivors are his wife, the former Hattie Verhagen; five daughters. Mrs. Betty Schumacher, Appleton; Mrs. Mary Diederich, Appleton; Sister Mary Dorothy, Cape Guarden, Missouri; Mrs. Owen (Irene) Hietpas, Appleton; Mrs, Gerald (Julia) Hietpas, Kaukauna; two sons, Lester and Clarence, both of Kaukauna; one sister, Mrs. John Stoop, Little Chute; and 17 grandchildren.
