    • Last night at 9:30 o'clock occurred the death of Jacob Weyers, a resident of Marshfield for the past nine years. The end came at his home, 204 North Maple street where deceased was confined the past two months suffering from a complication of ailments.
      Mr. Weyers was born in Germany in 1843 and at the age of ten came to this country with his parents who settled in Sheboygan where deceased grew to manhood. Later the family established their residence in Brillion, Wis., where on May 9, 1871 Mr. Weyers married Miss Antonette Wassenberg. The family since had resided in Nebraska and at Rudolph, Wis., having in both instances conducted farms. Since moving to this city Mr. Weyers retired from any active occupation.
      The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock from St. John's Catholic church.
      Besides a widow those surviving his death are five sons and three daughters who are: Louis, Wisconsin Rapids; William, Wrightstown; John, Rudolph; Peter and Frank, Hay Springs, Nebraska; Mrs. Millerd Hunt, Florida; Anna, at home; and Sister M. Alcuin.
