- Donna M. Brittnacher, age 58, passed away on November 6, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 16, 1958, daughter of the late Cyrus and Jeanne (Nytes) Van Asten. Donna was a devoted wife and mother who put all others before herself. She went out of her way to spread happiness to everyone who came through her life. Donna loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed cooking, never letting anyone leave without a full stomach.
Donna is survived by her husband, Russ Brittnacher; children: Jim (Pam) Brittnacher, Jesse Brittnacher, Joe (Amanda Brajdic) Brittnacher, Melissa (Ben) Kiley, Michelle (James) Warner, and John (Laura Kruse) Brittnacher; grandchildren: Camden and Ayla Brittnacher and soon to be baby Kiley; siblings: Keith (Barb) Van Asten, Bonnie Hopfensperger, Lee Van Asten, Debbie Hartjes, and Al (Peg) Van Asten; brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve (Diane) Brittnacher, David (Gloria) Brittnacher, Joy Brittnacher, Jane (Joe) Feldkamp, Bill (Kris) Brittnacher.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Vickie Fredrick; father and mother-in-law, Cliff and Teresa Brittnacher; brothers-in-law: Greg Hopfensbereger, Steve Hartjes, and Tom Brittnacher.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute.
