Diann M. Schoenfelt, age 61, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2023.
She was born on December 7, 1961, daughter of the late Donald and Virginia (Platten) Zobel.
Diann graduated from Kaukauna High School with the class of 1980. She has been employed with Unison
Credit Union for the last 26 years. Diann enjoyed fishing, going on road trips with her husband Kurt, and
her grand dog, Mocha. Diann bartended at several local establishments through the years and truly
loved her customers. She was always the first person to help anyone in need.
Diann is survived by her husband, Kurt Schoenfelt; children: Levi (Ashley) Schoenfelt and Erica (Ram)
Schoenfelt; sisters: Mary Lou (Michael) Schneider, Ellen (Chuck) Schneider and Donna (Donald) Zunker;
brothers and sisters-in-law: Vicki Zobel, Chris, Keith (Debi), Deb and Jim Schoenfelt; a good friend,
Michelle; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Diann was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Virginia Zobel; brother, Gerald Zobel; Kurt’s
parents, Gottlieb and Rosemary Schoenfelt.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen
Family Funeral Home Kaukauna Location, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive. Visitation will be at the funeral home
from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Diann’s
