Age 73, passed away Monday afternoon December 28, 1992 at his home. He was born May 20, 1919 in the Town of Kaukauna, the son of the late Bernard and Mary (Coonen) VanderHeIden. On June 20, 1946 Mr. VanderHeiden married the former Mary Van Asten at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom. Leo served his country in the United States Army from 1941-1946. He farmed in the Town of
Kaukauna and was employed at Van Dyn Hoven Buick for 16 years until nis retirement. Leo was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown and served on the cemetery committee. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and was an usher at the church. He was also a member of the Urban -Klister Post #436 of the-American Legion, Wrightstown and had been a {'ast commander. He will be sadly mISsed by his wife, Mary; three sons and daughters.in-law: Donald and Myra VanderHeiden, Appleton; Gerald and Terry VanderHeiden, Seymour; Kenneth and Debra VanderHeiden, Kaukauna; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Robert Wall, Kaukauna; IS grandchildren; two brothers: Edward VanderHeiden, DePere and Raymond VanderHeiden, Neenah; a Sister, Katherine Kortz, Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by his parents, three grandchildren; two brothers: Francis and Richard. Friends may call at the De Wane-Boettcher-Cotter Funeral Home. 711 Main St., Wrightstown from 4 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and onThursday from 9 a.m until the cortege leaves for the church. American Legion Memorial Servloe 7 p.m. Wednesday evening and the parish prayer service at 8 p.rn. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul catholic Church, Wrightstown with Fr. Elroy E. Reimer officiating. Burial will be in 51. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Snyderville.
