      Age 98, passed away saturday May 12, 2001 at St. Josephs' Residence at
      New London. He was born April 25, 1903 in the Town of Dale, the son of
      Joseph and Catherine (Seif) Beschta. Mr. Beschta farmed in the Town of
      Ellington prior to moving to Hortonville in 1973. Arthur had enjoyed bow
      hunting and fishing. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church
      of Hortonville.
      Survivors include a daughter June (Harold) Strey of Hortonville; two sons
      William (Carol) Beschta of Black Creek and Arthur (Shirley) Beschta Jr.
      of Shiocton; a son-in-law Wilmer Petit of Fremont; a sister Lorraine
      (Pete) Nussbaum and a sister-in-law Dorothy Beschta both of Hortonville.
      Sixteen Grandchildren; 46 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great
      Grandchildren.
      He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Ethel Mae (LaFond)
      Beschta; his 2nd wife of 69 years, Helen (Krause) Beschta; a daughter
      Eunice Petit; three Grandchildren; a Great Granddaughter; two sisters
      Ella (Robert) Griesbach and Adeline (Syvester) Giesen; a brother Elmer
      Beschta and a brother-in-law Wilbur Winkenwerder.
      The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wed. May 16 from Sts. Peter &
      Paul Catholic Church. Rev. David Funk celebrating. Burieal will be held
      in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral
      Home Hortonville. From 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday where there will be prayer
      service at 7p.m. and then again on Wed. from 9 a.m. unitl the cortege
      leaves for the church. Arthur's family sincerely thanks the girls from
      Hospice and the staff of St. Joseph's for their special care and concerns
      and they really appreciated all the neighbors and friends who visted
      Arthur.
