- Elizabeth "Buddy" Bloy, age 95, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2017 at Matthews Senior Living of Irish Road. She was born in Appleton on November 14, 1921, daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Sturm) Kohl. Elizabeth loved working on crafts, Mission Club, making quilts at church, and line dancing at the senior center.
Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her four daughters: Judith (Michael) Beringer, Sue (Bob) Seul, Shirley (Dan) Gourde, Donna (Lloyd) Eggert; son, David (Chris) Bloy; fourteen grandchildren: Michelle (J.J.) Panzer, Kevin (Rebecca) Beringer, Ben (Karin) Beringer, Bobbi Jo (Brian) Rzeszutek, Rachael (Ric) Johnson, Clint (Monica) Seul, Justin Gourde, Ryan (Julie) Gourde, Troy Gourde, Jordan Bloy, Colin Bloy, Raymond (Cindy) Eggert, Adam (Mandy) Eggert, and Nicole Eggert. She is further survived by twenty great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond S. Bloy, and many brothers and sisters.
Funeral liturgy for Elizabeth will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017, at ST BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine Street, with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
