- Alvin H. Ploetz
Formerly of 120 Doty St., Kaukauna, age 89, died Wednesday, February 11, 1987, at the Parkview Manor Nursing Center, Green Bay. He was born February 26, 1897 in Fremont. He served with the Red Arrow Division in World War I. He had worked for the Park School in Kaukauna for many years. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 41. Survivors include two daughters: Dorothy Butcher, Appleton; Joyce Vanden Avond, Green Bay; a brother, Carl Ploetz, Kaukauna; two sisters: Elvera Haas and Stella Vils, both of Kaukauna; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preced in death by his wife, Frances; a brother, Eldor; a sister Leone; and a grandsom, Mark. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 14, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at . . .
