    • Bernard J Brown, 68, 1340 W. Pine street, died unexpectedly at 8 o'clock this morning at his home. He was born Sept. 16, 1889, in Kaukauna, lived in Appleton the last 25 years and was a retired railway mail clerk.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 p'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Wichmann Funeral home with burial in Highland Memorial park. The Rev. F. C. Reuter, pastor of First English Lutheran church, will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
      survivors include his wife; two brothers, James, Appleton and Leo, Neenah; and tw sisters, Mrs. Theresa Amundson, West Allis, and Mrs. Loretta Junk, Lena.
