Notes - John Brown, 71, Taylor St., Kaukauna, died at 10:30 Sunday evening following an illness of eight weeks. He was born in Germantown, Aug. 4, 1864, but was a resident of Kaukauna since 1888. He was employed by the Thilmany paper company for 27 years and was employed by the Kaukauna street department. He retired from active work two years ago.
Survivors are the widow, three sons, Bernard J. and James of Appleton and Leo of Kaukauna; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Amundson, West Allis, and Miss Loretta Brown, Kaukauna; four brothers, James and George of Kaukauna, Frank of Oshkosh, and Charles of Eland; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Zink, Marshfield and Miss Jennie Brown, Kaukauna.
The funeral will be held at the residence on Taylor-st Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Appleton.
