Notes - In Loving Rembrance of Our Dear Mother, Monica Loderbauer, Who Departed This Life 40 Years Ago, July 19, 1891.
Forty years have passed and our hearts still sore,
As time goes on we miss her more and more,
Her cheerful voice, her welcome face,
No one can take our dear mother's place.
Her memory is as dear today
As in the hour she passed away,
For her presence we can call no more.
God called her home, it was His will,
But long in our hearts she lingers still.
We miss thee from our home, dear mother,
we miss thee from thy place.
A shadow o'er our life is cast,
We miss the sunshine of thy face.
We miss thy kind and willing hand,
Thy fond and earnest care.
Our home is dark without thee,
We miss thee everywhere.
Only a prayer that is tender,
Earnest, deep and true
But it comes from the heart, dear mother,
While we are thinking of you.
A happy home we once enjoyed,
How sweet the memory still,
but death has left a vacant Chair
This world can never fill.
In our hearts your memory lingers,
Sweetly, tenderly, fond and true;
There is not a day, dear mother, That we do not think of you.
For all of us she did her best,
May God grant her eternal rest.
