    • Mrs. N. Edward Keller, 65, of 604 Columbus Ave. Brillion, died today at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay following a two-years illness.

      Nee Catherine Wimmer, she was born at St. Nazianz, Jan. 18, 1891, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wimmer.

      Orphaned at the age of seven months she was raised by her foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brunmeier. Oct. 15, 1915 she married Edward Keller at St. Gregory church, St. Nazianz and settled in Brillion where her husband was associated with the Mumm Oil Co.

      She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society, the Brillion Women’s Club and was a member and gold star mother of the Brillion American Legion Auxiliary.

      Survivors are her husband; five sons, Staff Sgt. Wilfred Keller of Camp Polk, La., Sgt Edward of Camp Carson, Colo., Sgt. First Class Donald of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., Joseph of Appleton and Elmer at home; three daughters, Mrs. John (Marcella) Diener of Hilbert, Mrs. Eugene (Lynn Doris) Schaefer, and Mrs. Edwin (Georgianna) Petermann, both of Rt. 2, Brillion; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Anthony J. Wimmer of Seattle, Wash.; a step-brother, Henry Brunmeier, Rt. 1, Kiel and a step-sister, Mrs. Peter Leschke of Osman.

      Preceding her in death were a son, Charles in 1932 and a son, John, a World War II casualty, March 15, 1945.

      Funeral services will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brillion. The Rev. Raymond Schauer will be celebrant of the requiem Mass at the church and will officiate at the burial in the church cemetery.
