- Henry J. Ulman, 1205 S. Douglas St. Age 73, passed away at 11:20 a. m. Thursday after a short illness. He was born July 28, 1890 in Appleton. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the parish. He was a retired farmer and a former constable of the Town of Greenville for several years and was Deputy of Outagamie County for 28 years.
Mr. Ulman is survived by his wife, Mildred;
four sons,
Servatius, Hortonville;
Ferdinand,
Leon,
and Clifford, all of Appleton;
one step-son, Holbrook Rogers, Appleton;
one step-daughter, Mrs. Merle Harrison, Neenah;
one sister, Mrs. Margaret Gengler;
three brothers,
George,
and Raymond, all of Appleton;
Edward, St. Charles, Minn.;
23 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with a requiem Mass at 10 a.m., Msgr. Adam Grill as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call al the Valley Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday until 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
