    • Evelyn L. DeVos, 87, De Pere, passed away on Friday morning October 21, 2016. She was born September 4, 1929 to the late Mathias and Elizabeth (Van Gheem) Minten. On June 17, 1950 she married Peter DeVos. Evelyn enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was camping, golfing, or traveling to Florida, She also liked to crochet, a good game of cards, and of course Happy Hour. Evelyn retired from St. Norbert College.

      She is survived by her husband Peter, her daughter Lois Backmann, her grandson Matthew (Brandi) Backmann, as well as her two great grandchildren Dominik, and Natalie. Evelyn was preceded in death by her son in law Ronald Backmann, and her two brothers Clarence (Dorothy) Minten, and Earl (Myrtle) Minten.

      Friends may call after 3:00PM Tuesday October 25, 2016 at St. Norbert College Parish at Old St. Joseph Church, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00PM with Fr.
