- Beverly Bev Kolb, 86, Shawano, WI, formerly of De Pere, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. She was born on June 16, 1932 to the late Clarence Pee-Wee and Irene (Verheyen) Schmechel.
On April 24, 1954 Bev married Lloyd Kolb. They shared 64 wonderful years together.
Professionally, Bev worked for various financial organizations for over 30 years, before retiring from Wells Fargo as a Vice President. After retirement she became the Treasurer for Tropical Palms Retirement Community in Bradenton, FL. Bev enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, painting, participating in arts and crafts, playing slots, as well as being a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, generosity, intelligence, and love.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd; children, Patricia (Rick) Klaus, Joseph Jon (Bobbie) Kolb, Sue Kolb, Amy (Pete Hofacker) Liebergen, Tina Marie (Derek) Young, Joy (Tony) Maguire; grandchildren, Danielle (Scot) Hulshizer, Rebecca (Mike) White, April Lynn (Keith) Dart, Tory Leigh (Jarod) Homme, Michael Joseph Kolb, Ruthie Dean Kolb, William BJ Kolb, Jake Liebergen (Tricia Mikota), Mason Liebergen ( Lindsey Rentmeester), Mariah Young, Miranda Young; great grandchildren, Ella White, Hunter Dart, Morgan Homme, Max Homme, Mikota Liebergen, Carson Meyer; brothers, Gene (Nancy) Schmechel, Roger (Merideth) Schmechel, Jeffery (Paula) Schmechel; sisters-in-law, Ruby Ahasay, Pat Schmechel; brother-in-law, Darrell Kolb; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Curly Kolb; as well as her parents and brothers, Robert Schmechel, and Ray (Marlene) Schmechel.
