- Theodore J. Ted Schuh, Appleton, age 89, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Oak Park Place. He was born in Freedom on February 26, 1931 to the late Fred and Catherine (Meulemans) Schuh. Ted was a proud veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Shirley Weyenberg on November 27, 1952 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Together they loved to travel and especially enjoyed their time in Laughlin, NV. Ted also enjoyed golfing and bowling in his younger years, trips to area casinos, and playing Bridge and Sheepshead. He loved to visit with family and friends, including those he socialized with while mall walking at the Fox River Mall.
Ted is survived by his daughters: Julie Schuh and Jennifer Hausher, both of Appleton; grandchildren: Elizabeth and Emily Hausher and Ian Schuh; brother: Jim Schuh; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerry Smith, Nancy (Jim) Ourada, Lynn Verhagen, and Joe Kronzer. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Shirley, Ted was preceded in death by his sisters: Virginia (Joe) Martin, Rita (Leland) Tessen, Cecelia (Joe) Smet and Dolores Smith; brothers: Richard (Betty) and Harold (Pat) Schuh; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Martha (Lamers) Weyenberg; sisters-in-law: Judy Schuh and Carole Kronzer; and brother-in-law, Ron Verhagen.
A private funeral was held.
