    • Arnold H. Lopas, 89, 1124 Melissa Street, Menasha, died Saturday morning, March 1, following a short illness.

      He was born Dec. 7, 1896, in the town of Woodville and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Oney Johnston-Edward Blessman American Legion Post No. 28.

      He is survived by two sons, and daughters-in-law, James W. and Dolores Lopas of Menasha, and William D. and Marlene Lopas of Appleton and six grandchildren; James A., Robert P., Steven J. Christine L., Lisa and Randy Lopas.

      He was preceded in death by his wife, Germaine, in November 1972.

      The complete funeral was at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Appleton, with the Rev. David Pagel officiating. Interment was in Highland Memorial Park.
