 | Green Bay - Rebecca A. "Becky" Holland, 74, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022, after a short illness. She was born May 22, 1947, in Green Bay to the late Rudy and June (Biese) Reinhard.
Becky graduated from West High School in 1965. She attended Mercy School of Nursing in Oshkosh, graduating in 1968 as a registered nurse. She and Joe Holland were married on October 24, 1970. Joe passed in 2005. Becky worked as a nurse for many years in the homecare field. She eventually retired from Prevea in 2011. She enjoyed phone calls, reading, going to plays, visiting with friends and family gatherings. Becky was the head of the Prayer Vine at St. Agnes Catholic Church, and her family considered her their "prayer warrior". She was also a member of The Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. She loved going out with her "Grade School Group," her "couples group" and her Prevea friends.
She is survived by siblings, Paula (Dennis) Nachtwey, Peter (Sue) Reinhard; nieces and nephews, Carrie Nachtwey, Steve (Monica Grubbs) Nachtwey, Josh (Abby) Reinhard, Katie (Luke) Ver Boort, Andy (Gina) Reinhard; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mickey (Daniel) Hakala, Francis Holland, Mary Johnson, Ernie Holland; several nieces and nephews from Marquette, MI, and many great nieces and nephews, or as she referred to them her "little darlings".
Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives.
Friends and family will gather at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating.
