      Well Known Local Woman Dies at St. Elizabeth's Hospital After Operation
      Mrs. John E. Burke, 44 years of age, well known resident of this city, died at the St. Elizabeth's hospital Thursday night at 10:40 o'clock following an operation for a ruptured gall bladder. Mrs. Burke was taken ill last week Wednesday and was taken to the hospital on Saturday.
      The late Mrs. Burke, nee Sarah Ryneart, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ryneart, and was born in Little Chute on August 28, 1883. Her father died just two months ago. In May, 1905, she became the bride of John E. Burke of this city, and moved to Kaukauna with her husband immediately after her marriage.
      Surviving the deceased woman are her widower, John E. Burke; eight children, Mrs. Walter Pennings, Alice, Jeanette, Mildred, John, Margaret, Edmund, and Agnes, one grandchildren, Eugene Pennings, all of this city; and four sisters, Mrs. G. Gloudemans, Mrs. Henry Derricks, Mrs. George Derricks of Little Chute and Mrs. Peter Bergman of this city.
      The deceased was an esteemed member of the St. Mary's Catholic church of this city, and a member of the local Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, Catholic knights of Wisconsina nd Altar Society of the St. Mary's church.
      Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning from the St. Mary's church with Rev. C. Ripp in charge of the requiem high mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery.
