  • Notes
    • My great-great grandpa was Peter Sanderfoot. Peter's parents came from Holland. Peter was born in Freedom, WI. His wife, Henrietta (Swinkles) was born in Wrightstown, WI. Peter was a farmer. In 1929, when he retired from farming, he moved to Kimberly. He then worked at the dumps. His job was to let the trucks in and out. In World War II he got a nickel for a tail from a rat or a gopher. All the copper and metal he kept and sold to the scheeney. The dumps were on the river bank near the Kimberly mill. He passed away in 1948.
