- Rose M. Huss, Kaukauna, age 84, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. She was born in Little Chute on January 28, 1932 to the late George and Catherine (Schumacher) Ryba. Rosie married George Huss at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church on June 24, 1950. She worked as a typesetter. Through her career, she was employed at Driessen Printing, Morgan Printing, Baer Printing and Pechman Imaging. Rosie's hobbies included gardening, quilting, knitting, ceramics and ice fishing. She was an active member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish where she spent many hours volunteering painting, food preparation for the fish fries and folding weekly bulletins. Rosie also volunteered at Thousand Islands Nature Center.
Rosie is survived by her husband George, married 66 years, children: Marty (Carol) of Kaukauna; Mary (Richard) Stillman of Greenleaf; Steve (Sandy) of Kaukauna; Chuck (Joan) of Kaukauna; and Tim (Annie) of Hartford; grandchildren: Janella (Jamie) Mader, Andy (Stacy) Huss, Patrick (Liz) Stillman, Lindsay (Rob) Vander Heiden, Rachelle (Ryan) Hansen, Jared (Alisha) Huss, Jackie (Marty) De Coster, Charlene (Mike) Zuleger, Jenny Huss, Ryan (Amanda) Huss, Cory (Deena) Huss, Amber and Brittany Huss; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerry (Dee), Floyd (Arlene), and Kenneth (Rosie) Huss and John Schmidt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her grandson, Kyle; great grandson, Ryder; great great granddaughter, MicKenzie; siblings: Martha ("Red" Francis) Vaughn, Raymond, Henry, Elmer (Lucille), Orville ("Peanuts" Thelma), infant sister Evelyn and Robert Ryba; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Lawrence (Agnes), Sylvester (Ethel), infant Katherine, Robert (Millie), Cleon (Marion) Huss and Nancy Schmidt.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. MARY CHURCH (119 W. 7th St. Kaukauna) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev.
