Little Chute
Age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2001 at Parkside Care Center. She was born March 16, 1914 in the Town of Vandenbroek, youngest child of Theodore and Nellie (Van Handel) Williamsen. On July 18, 1946 she married Lawrence Huss at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. Agnes was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. She retired from Zwicker Knitting Mills in 1982. She was very devoted to her children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed the holidays. Everyone will miss her homemade Christmas candies that family, friends and relatives looked forward to.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis and Sue, Kimberly; Dale and Debbie, Kaukauna; Dean and Linda, Little Chute; a daughter and son-in-law: Jan and Doug Brecklin, Fridley, Minnesota; grandchildren: Jennifer (special friend, Jeff Wimer); Jessica and Ryan (special friend, Lisa Verhagen) Huss; Eric, Ethan and April Huss; Jason (and fiancé, Heather Williams) and Amanda (special friend, Eric Barlow) Huss; Keven (wife, Carol), Tamie and Amanda Brecklin and a great-grandson, Dalton Voigt; sisters-in-law: Viola Williamsen, Betty Williamsen and Ethel Huss; brothers-in-law: Jerry (Dee), Little Chute; Bob (Millie), Combined Locks; Cleon (Marion), Kaukauna; Floyd (Arlene), Kaukauna; George (Rosie), Kaukauna; Ken (Rosie), Kaukauna; a sister-in-law, Nancy (John) Schmidt.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and siblings: Hattie (John) Schumacher, Gertrude (John) Vanden Heuvel; George (Geraldine) Williamsen; Ann Williamsen; Mary (Barney) Micke; Joe Williamsen; John Williamsen and a brother-in-law, Sylvester Huss.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2001 at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. Frank Schrage officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Little Chute. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.
