    • Gerald R. Seager, age 75, passed away on Thursday morning, September 16, 2010, at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah. He was born in Oshkosh on September 28, 1934, son of the late Alfred and Ida Seager. Gerald was a machine operator for U.S. Paper for nearly 53 years, retiring in June of 1995. Gerald will be remembered as a man full of integrity, he was dedicated to his family and to his work. Being very attentive to detail, Gerald built his own retirement home. He was loyal, hard-working, loved his pets, and was able to enjoy a simple, happy life by sticking to his principles.

      Gerald is survived by his daughters: Linda (Herb) Giebisch, Neenah, Cindy (Rob) Shaw, Sherwood, Tammy Spierings, Kimberly, Kim (Joel) Schroth, Menasha; his son: Mark Seager, Appleton; sisters: Lois Kemps, Lorraine Handschke; brothers: Don (Dorla) Seager, Rodney Seager; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott; his siblings: Ethel, Delbert, Janet, Dolores, Gordon, Howard, Roland, and Melvin.

      The Memorial Service for Gerald will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Soto officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerald's name are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
