    • Michael P. Flanigan
      Michael P. Flanigan, 60, 1531 N. Alvin Street, died Friday evening after a long illness. He was born July 6, 1897 , in Janesville and lived in Appleton since 1929.
      Funeral services will be at 9 o'clock Monday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church with Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Sunday night at the Wichmann Funeral home where friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight and 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
      Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Dale Bergner, Mrs. DuWayne Mears, Mrs. Thomas Weiland, Mrs. Roger Miller, all of Appleton, and Sister M. Patrick at the Convent of the Sorrowful Mother, Milwaukee; two sons, Donald and James, both of Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Kamps and Miss Ann Flanigan both of Janesville; and eight grandchildren.
