- Koehn, Betty J., age 88, of Roseville, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2015. Betty was born January 2, 1927 to Fred and Caroline Selig in Appleton, Wisconsin; and moved to the Michigan area in 1965. Betty was happily married to Bob Koehn for 38 years, they were married on August 9, 1958. Bob passed away 19 years ago on June 29, 1996. Betty was known for her handmade crafts, like crocheted afghans, needlepoint calendars, Kleenex boxes, hanging towels, and the list goes on. She also was an avid pinochle player and movie watcher, while she also enjoyed a good game of backgammon and scrabble on a regular basis. A competitor and a fighter, not to mention a great mom and mentor. Betty is survived by five children, Walley Weirnik, Pam Klassen, Wayne and Brian Kersten, Rob Koehn; and stepdaughters, Donna Videan and Bobbi Hudson-Koehn, Sister Marge; and brother, Dick; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Bob Koehn;parents, Fred and Caroline; brothers, Jack, Fred, Vernon, Kenny, and Gene. Memorial will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015, 10 a.m. at Warren Woods Baptist Church, 14251 E 12 Mile Rd. Warren, MI.
