    • Mrs. Mike Weber, 72, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday following a short illness.
      Mrs. Weber, nee Miss Lena Schmidt, was born Oct. 12, 1869 in the town of Woodville, Calumet County, and was married Oct. 13, 1891 at St. John.

      Mr. and Mrs. Weber began their married life on a farm in the town of Stockbridge, later moved to Woodville where they have since resided.

      Survivors beside the husband are 7 daughters, Tillie, Mrs. Joseph Daun, Chilton Town; Theresa, Mrs. Ray Ruffing, Stockbridge Town; Mary, Mrs. Gilbert Strebe, Sheboygan Falls; Margaret, Mrs. Harry Neels, Elkhart Lake; Helen, Mrs. Elroy Korb, Chilton; Anita, Mrs. Robert Luck, Milwaukee; Lorraine, Mrs. Ray Humphrey, Albany, N.Y.;
      Three sons, Fred and John, Hilbert; Joseph, Askeaton; 28 grandchildren and one great grandchild; four brothers, Joseph and William Schmidt, Sherwood; Fred and George, Thorpe; two sisters, Mrs. George Kloeppel, Hilbert; Miss Lena Schmidt, Milwaukee.

      Funeral services were held Tuesday from the residence and at St. Mary’s church. Interment was in the parish cemetery, Rev. Theo. Kolbe, officiating.
      Mrs. Weber was a member of the Christian Mothers society and the members attended in a body.

      Mr. and Mrs. Weber celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Oct. 12, and the sudden death of Mrs. Weber has cast a gloom over this community where she was loved and respected by all who knew her.
