      Age 82, died on Monday, November 16, 1998, at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born July 26, 1916, in Stockbridge, son of the late Edward and Lena (Scherer) Berrens. Pat married Leona L. (Krebsbach) Zorn on October 4, 1947, at St. Joe. She preceded him in death on September 30, 1968. He served in the United States Army during World War II and worked at the Aluminum Speciality Company in Chilton until retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chilton and also served as custodian there from 1978 until 1992. He is survived by six daughters, Debbie (Joe) Dotson, Chilton; Patty (Bernie) Geiser, Chilton; Sharon Zorn, Chilton; Shirley Twining, Neenah; Mary Berrens, Chilton; Deloris Berrens, Chilton; a son-in-law, Karl Bubolz, Reedsville; 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gertrude Melchoirs, Appleton, and Kathrine (Bill) Forstner, Chilton; two brothers, Gene (Deloris) Berrens, Chilton, and Robert Berrens, Manitowoc. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, three grandchildren, a great grandson, and three brothers, Claude, Victor, and Art. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 1998, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chilton, with the Rev. Gary New S.D.S. officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton is assisting the family.
