      Mrs. Floyd Kessler [Christena Weyenberg] St. Paul Home, Kaukauna

      Age 96, passed away Thursday, June 30, 1994 at St. Paul Home. She was aborn January 8, 1898 in Little Chute, daughter of the late Henry and Anna [Bergman] Weyenberg. She married Floyd Kessler in 1920, he preceded her in death in 1965.

      Survivors include a daughter, Joyce [Edward] Schleis, Winneconne; four granchildren, Kathleen [Steve] Rieth, Appleton; Robert [Jodi] Schleis, Delafield; Martha [Mike] Broadway, Madison; Margaret [Tim] Groves, Madison; five great grandchildren, Jenny [Tom] Merryfield, Appleton; Mike Rieth, Des Moines, Iowa; Jacob and Nicholas Groves, Madison; Katherine Broadway, Madison.

      Christena was precededed in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Robert, in 1944; 12 brothers and sisters; and a great granddaughter, Katie Rieth in 1979.

      Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 1994 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Appleton with Christena nephew, Fr. Thomas Peeters officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends directly at the chapel on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of services. The Wichmann Funeral home is assisting the famiy with arrangements.
