    • Dennis C. Strong "Chink", of Hortonville, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2012. He was born in New London, on November 16, 1946 to the late Elmer and Francis Esther Strong (Cass). Dennis enjoyed road trip, dinning out listening to his tunes. He especially loved showing his son the ropes around their shop.



      He is survived by his two children: Dennis C. Strong II of Little Chute, and grandchildren Lexus Darlene Parker and Faith Marie Strong; Diana Strong of Kaukauna, and grandchild Naomi Marie Strong; two step children: Mike and Greg Vissers. He is also survived by his brother Harold Strong of Tustin, and Mark and Esther "Sis" Bushman (Strong) of Appleton along with his nephew Anthony and niece Lindsey Bushman.



      In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his son David Lee Strong, Elmer "Sonny" Strong and his life long best friend Lenny "LB" Butler.

      A memorial service for Dennis will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville with Rev. James Deckert officiating. A visitation will be held directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dennis name.



      The family would like to give special thanks to Lisa Domingos who was his in home care giver.
