- Young, Beulah M.
Beulah M. Young, Hortonville, 92, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 20, 2007. Beulah was born on Nov. 29, 1914, in Shiocton, daughter of the late Orvel and Armella (Jacobs) Johnson. On June 1, 1937, she was united in marriage to Cyrus Young. He preceded her in death in 1994. She graduated from Shiocton High School. Beulah earned a teaching degree from Oshkosh and Ripon University. She volunteered at the Hortonville/Dale Food Pantry for over 20 years and as a Grandparent Aide for Outagamie County. Beulah formerly worked at Hortonville Mfg. and at Hortonville Wire Products. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville and was a member of the PCCW.
Beulah is survived by three daughters, Kathleen (Gerald) Wolf, Hortonville Donalda Brownson, Plymouth, Minn. Armella (Richard) Bloy, Kaukauna two sons, Gerald (Carol) Young, Appleton and Robert (Judy) Young, Greenville. Sisters-in-law, Jetty Johnson, Shiocton Bev Johnson, Shiocton Audrey Johnson, Shiocton Carol Johnson, Neenah Dorothy Mertes, Neenah Betty Young, Clintonville and a brother-in-law, Justin (Lois) Young, Hortonville. Further surviving her are 13 grandchildren, Tom (Cindy) Wolf, Tim (Cathy) Wolf, Sheila (Tim) Marg, Kelly Sanchez, Jill (M.H.) Penglase, Mike Young, Delia Brownson, Andrea (Derek) Gould, Markita (Paul) Stone, Jeff (Jenny) Young, Billy (Jami) Young, Christy (Eric) Grams and Tabby (Denny) Bucholtz 28 great-grandchildren a special friend, Dennis Gantzert, Hortonville nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Beulah was preceded in death by an infant son, John five brothers, Clarence, Glen, Elmer, Bill, and Harry a sister, Carolyn (Gene) Tebo and numerous other in-laws.
Funeral Mass for Beulah will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at 11 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with the Rev. Paul Vanden Hogan officiating. Burial will be in the Parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
The family wishes to thank a very special person, Judy Borgwardt, manager of Pinewood.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
Beulah touched so many lives and will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her love for family and friends and will be sadly missed.
