      Sara Young, 35, New London, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 4, 1971, in Appleton, daughter of Michael and Ruth (Kettner) Barrington. On April 27, 1996, she married Jody Young in New London. Sara was a 1989 graduate of New London High School and later attended the University of La Crosse where she graduated in 1994 with a degree in accounting. Her family meant everything to her. She especially loved spending time with her 4-year-old son, Kyle. She was a member of After Reach Cancer Survivors Group of New London and she participated in the Relay for Life.

      She is survived by her husband, Jody a son, Kyle, at home her parents, Michael and Ruth Barrington, New London a brother, Todd (Lori) Barrington, New London. She is further survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Martin and Ethel Young, New London and numerous other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

      The Funeral Mass for Sara will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Most Precious Blood Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, where a 7:30 p.m. prayer service will be held, and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A Memorial Fund has been established.

      The family would like to thank Dr. Swanson, Theda Care Hospice and all the nurses at Martha Seikman Cancer Center.
