      Lillie E. Kollath , age 93, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. Lillie was born March 27, 1914, the daughter of the late Andrew and Martha (Witthuhn) Barth. She was united in marriage to Harrison Kollath on September 12, 1936, sharing 69 years together before his death in 2005. Lillie and Harrison owned and operated the Gambles Store in Black Creek for many years, moving to Appleton in 1966 and in 2001 to Seymour.

      Survivors include two daughters: Judy (Lloyd) Schad of Highland Park, IL and Suzanne (Blake) Prelipp of Bailey, CO four grandchildren: Jennifer (Thomas) Stancampiano of Boca Raton, FL Steven Harrison (Lidia) Prelipp of Ft. Worth, TX Laura (Daniel) Chambers of Homewood, IL and Amy (Jon) Matsumura of River Forest, IL great-grandchildren: Blake and Claire Matsumura and Paul Harrison Stancampiano sister, Marie Veitch of Seymour sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Oren and Arleta Ougsberger of Delphos, OH also nieces and nephews.

      In addition to her parents and husband, Lillie was preceded in death by her brothers: Willie, Emil and Sanford Barth and sisters: Lydia Mory, Lorena Wussow.

      Lillie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was famous for her delicious meals and baking.

      A memorial service will be held at a later date.

      The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who made her last years happy and comfortable. Especially to Marie Veitch and the caregivers at Good Shepherd. The family is very grateful.
