- Kenneth C. Anderson, Kaukauna, age 63, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on October 5, 1949 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Robert and Margaret (West) Anderson. On August 3, 1979 Ken was united in marriage to Luane Marquardt. Ken was employed in the carpentry department at Appleton Papers for over 35 years until retiring in 2011. He was a very talented carpenter and the projects he created were evident throughout the paper mill and especially in his home. Ken's garage was a second home where he could always be found. He was a kind, gentle and very generous man. Ken loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Luane; a daughter, Loni Anderson; a son, Justin (Ashley) Anderson; two grandchildren: Callie and Carson; two sisters: Cecilia (special friend Doug) Krautsch and Phyllis Hayes; nieces and nephews: John Krautsch, Theresa Krautsch, Steve (Jennie) Krautsch, Tina Bourassa, Lisa O'Toole, and Brian O'Toole. He is further survived by Luane's Family: two sisters-in-law: Beth (Jeff) Lautenschlager and Deb (Steve) Brockman; a brother-in-law, Mark Marquardt; nieces and nephews: Travis (Amanda) Cole (Kimberly), Dylan (Nicole) Brockman, Aaron (Heather) Lautenschlager, Eric, Charlie and Trent Marquardt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law, Theresa and Ervin Marquardt; a brother, Paul Anderson, two brothers-in-law: Mike and Daniel Marquardt.
A Memorial Service for Ken will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
