Look, Gary M.
Gary M. Look, Kaukauna, peacefully departed this life on January 6, 2010. He was born in Appleton on September 25, 1948, to Joe and Rosella (Reynebeau) Look. He graduated from St. John's Catholic High School, Little Chute in 1966. He then served his country in the Army, during the Vietnam War earning a Bronze Star. He then married Jackie Reichel on August 28, 1971. Gary worked at Thilmany Pulp & Paper for 35 years retiring in 2004. Gary enjoyed life. His special pleasures were spending time with his children, grandchildren, fishing, hunting, gardening and farming.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; children: Paul, Kaukauna; Amy (special friend Paul Ludke), Wrightstown; Jon, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Crystal, Cody, Aryah, Aaron; brothers and sisters: Jeanne (Dan) Mittag, Ken (Karen) Look, Barb (Tim) Hietpas, Diane (Don) Verbruggen; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim Reichel, Dan (Bonnie) Reichel, Janice Agen (special friend Dave Six), Betty (Steve) Mereness; god son, Tanner; very special great nephew, Sidney, many nieces and nephews. Gary had many special friends who were just like family to him.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, paternal, John and Gertrude Look, maternal, Matthew and Louise Reynebeau. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, (Whom he truly loved) Cyril and Julie Reichel, special pet and companion, Margie.
A Memorial Service for Gary will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, (920-766-2099). Friends may call on Saturday at the Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Special thanks to the Kaukauna Paramedics and Town of Kaukauna First Responders. To the Medical Staff at Appleton Medical Center in the ICU, for the care and compassion shown to Gary and his family.
Special thanks to Erin Harrison, Steve Mereness, and Traci Allenberg for their caring help they gave our family in our time of need.
Gary was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who gave unconditional support.
