 | Obituary im Blair
Kaukauna - Jim Blair, 69, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 after a short battle with COVID. Jim was born on April 24, 1951 to Jerome and Germaine (Diedrich) Blair. On May 6, 1972 he was united in marriage to Cindy Landreman. Jim worked at Thimanys for many years. Jim was an avid golfer and sports fan, enjoying the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and NASCAR. He also enjoyed going to "race night" with his brother-in-law. Jim liked woodworking, landscaping and tending to his flowers. He was a master gardener and his yard was perfect, not one weed or dandelion to be found. Most of all Jim loved and adored his family. Jim spoiled "his girls"-- his wife and daughters, Sadie and Abby. But the real loves of his life were his six grandkids. He never missed their volleyball games, wrestling matches, baseball games, soccer games, dance competitions, or concerts. He also loved cookouts, camping, and family vacation time. Many wonderful memories were made as a family and he will be greatly missed.
Jim is survived by his wife Cindy, his daughters; Sadie (Cory) Swedberg, Abby (Joe) Schmidt, grandchildren; Andy, Xavier, Rowen, Ryleigh, Addison and Olivia, his mother Germaine Blair, a brother, Lee (Karla) Blair, sisters; Jan (Bruce) Burt, Linda (Rick) Belling, brother-in-law Tom Landreman, and sister-in-law Bonnie Landreman. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved to tease: Chris, Dan, Elaina, Kerri, Bryan, Craig, Scott, Heather, and Brooke, along with other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joan and Bill Landreman, and brother-in-law Al Landreman.
In keeping with the current health pandemic the private family memorial service for Jim will be livestreamed on Monday, March 1, 2021 starting at 11:00 AM at the Verkuilen Van Deurzen Funeral Home Facebook page. Online condolences may be expressed at www.verkuilenfh.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Jim's name. |
