- Joan H. Landreman, Kaukauna, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at St. Paul Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 19, 1926 in Little Chute, daughter of the late Theodore and Etta (Pennings) Van Lankvelt. Joan attended St. John's Grade School and graduated from St. John High School. She was a charter member of the Kaukauna Hospital Auxiliary and a longstanding member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Kaukauna. On June 16, 1948 Joan was united in marriage to William Landreman at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. Joan was a homemaker and a wonderful seamstress. She always made the family Christmas very special and memorable.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Jim) Blair; a son, Tom Landreman; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Landreman; six grandchildren: Chris (Heath) Hoffman, Dan (Dawn) Landreman, Sadie (Cory) Swedberg, Abby (Joe) Schmidt, Blaine Landreman, and Elaina Landreman; nine great-grandchildren: Andy, Xavier, Rowen, Ryleigh, Addison, Olivia, Cali, Dane, and Cara; three brothers: Roger (Cuca) Van Lankvelt, Jim (Audrey) Van Lankvelt, and Larry (Carol) Van Lankvelt; two brothers-in-law: Larry Landreman and Andy Stumpf; three sisters-in-law: Ruby Landreman, Marilyn Landreman, and Jan (Landreman) Matuszek; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded by her parents, her husband, William, a son, Al, three sisters: Delores (Wally) Schmidt, Caron (Ron) Diedrich, and Sharon Stumpf; three brothers: Jerome, Harvey (Millie), and Bill (Eleanore); her mother and father-in-law: Robert and Hyacinth Landreman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Perry Martin, Don Oscar, Maureen Landreman, George, Jim, Greg, and John Landreman, Audrey Landreman, and Delores Landreman.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Joan will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 1, 2013 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. ALOYSIUS CHURCH, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received on Monday directly at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
