    • PRINCETON - Joseph Leonard Raymaker, age 73, died Thursday afternoon in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Born August 14, 1934 in Green Bay, WI he was a son of the late Joseph Peter and Sophie Baumann Raymaker and was the widower of Vera Lee Ingram Raymaker, who died on August 3, 1998. He was preceded in death by brothers, Lawrence Raymaker and Harold Raymaker and sisters, Mary Raymaker, Carol Ann Raymaker and Joyce Raymaker and nephews, Ricky Raymaker, Tim Raymaker and Robert VanRite. He completed High School at West High School in Green Bay. He joined the US Navy in 1951 and devoted 20 years to his country. After retiring with full military honors, he joined CP&L as a maintenance engineer and retired in 1986. After retirement, he served his family, was loyal to the Tees Chapel Church of Brogden and was faithful to the American Legion in Pine Level.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday February 11, 2008 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in PRINCETON with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. He was laid to rest, with military honors, in the Dicey-Dunn Cemetery near Four Oaks.Surviving are his sons, James J. Raymaker and wife Susanne of Orion, IL and Joseph P. "Joey" Raymaker of Princeton, daughters, Susan Raymaker Clark and husband Richard of Princeton and Cynthia Raymaker Cartwright and husband William of Old Town, MD, brothers, Norbert Raymaker and wife, Lavern and George Raymaker and wife Joan all of Green Bay, WI, sister, Dorothy VanRite and husband Marvin of Green Bay, WI, 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kenneth, Kimberly and Timothy, sister-in-law, Joanne Raymaker and brother-in-law, Fernando Rodriguez. Special friends are the Grover Pamperin Family, members of Tee's Chapel Church, Durwood and Faye Strickland and Faye Rains both of Massey Holt Road.The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and at other times at his home.
