    • George J. Frazer Dies at Age 46
      Was Candidate for Sheriff; Justice of Peace for Five Years
      George J. Frazer, 46, 1501 N Richmond street, one of 10 Republican candidates for sheriff of Outafamie county, died at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon after a 3-months' illness.
      Frazer was a former director and secretary of the Wisconsin Tavern league and had served as secretary of the Outagamie county Tavern league for the last seven years. A life-time resident of the town of Grand Chute, where he had operated a N. Richmond street tavern for the last 25 years, he had served as the township justice of the peace for the last five years. He was born Nov. 3, 1901, in Apple Creek.
      He was a member of the Elks, Eagles and Moose lodges, of the United Commercial Travelers and the Showman's league of America.
      Survivors are his widow, an adopted daughter, Miss Betty Jane Van Roy, Appleton, and two adopted sons, Robert James Van Roy, Appleton and Sergeant Jack Van Roy, Minneapolis.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Wichmann Funeral home with the Rev. C. H. Zeidler in charge. Friends may call at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
