Photos | ![]() | Obituary Peter R Binish, 82 The Hengst's Apr 2, 2024, 7:51 PM to me Peter R Binish, 82, formerly of 1422 Cass St, died Monday in a local nursing home. He was born Feb 4, 1902, in the Town of Eaton to the late Mr and Mrs Anton Binish. He married the former Margaret Cornelissen in DePere on Sept 24, 1928. His wife preceded him in death Sept 14, 1982. Mr Binish was employed by Wisconsin Public Service Corp for over 20 years until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of St Mary of the Angels Church and Parish Men's Club. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Gordon Fon, Madison; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Teresa Binish, Greenleaf; John and Gloria Binish, Allouez; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley Binish, Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs Mary VandenHeuvel, Mrs Clarence (Elizabeth) Bartel, both of Green Bay. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E Mason from 5 to 9pm Wednesday and after 10am Thursday. Prayer service 8pm Wednesday. Funeral 11am Thursday at St Mary of the Angels Church with the Rev Larry Kruczynski officiating. Burial in Allouez Cemetery. Green Bay Press Gazette 24 Apr 1984, Tue |
