      Blume, JoAnn
      JoAnn Blume, Appleton, age 62, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, following a brief illness. JoAnn was born in Green Bay on January 15, 1946, daughter of the late Elmer and Viona (Rohm) Brockman. She was a 1964 graduate of the Appleton High School, and for more than twenty years worked in the Appleton City Assessor's office. JoAnn enjoyed stamping, scrapbooking, cross-stitching, crocheting, working puzzles of all kinds, and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.
      She is survived by two children: Michael (Sara) Blume of Neenah and Tammy Blume of Appleton; a brother: Jay (Ruth) Brockman of Utah; a sister: Myrtle (Robert) Otis of Appleton; a sister-in-law: Betty Brockman of Madison, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
      JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother Donald.
      Memorial Services for JoAnn will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008, at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 326 E. North Street in Appleton, with Rev. George Detweiler officiating. Inurnment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
