      Steinke, June E.
      June Edith Steinke, age 85, Menasha, passed away Monday April 13, 2009, at her home. She was born June 25, 1923, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Ervin and Edith (Pontow) Weber. She married Elmo Steinke on April 28, 1945, in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2005. June graduated from Kaukauna High School. She has been a Menasha resident most of her adult life. She was a former dental assistant for Drs. Juneau and Brennan. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha, where she served on the church council and taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Neenah Lions Auxiliary and the Certified Dental Assistant Association where she served as president.
      Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Ron) Duuck, Menasha, two sisters: Dona (Richard) Frakes, Town of Neenah, Phyllis Hendricks, De Pere; a brother, William (Catherine) Weber, Appleton, a sister-in-law, June Weber, Sherwood, and many nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Hawkins-Smith, a brother, Jack Weber, and a brother-in-law, Sam Hendricks.
      A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 11 a.m., at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha, with the Rev. David Skarsten officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
