    • Gladys Mae Bildings, age 82, of Ledgeview, went to eternal rest Wednesday morning, August 13, 2014 after nine years with dementia. In 1932, she was born to the late Willard and Helene (Van Straten) Johnson in De Pere. She was a farm girl at heart. On August 31, 1957 at St. Joseph Church in De Pere, Clayton received a priceless gift in his marriage to Gladys. Having owned their own farm, Clayton and her farmed their whole lives. She was an avid gardener, a great cook, loved her horses and the outdoors, especially visiting the cabin up north. She enjoyed going shopping and out to lunch with her sisters, Arlene and June. Gladys loved her family, and particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ledgeview.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton; children: Juanita (Clyde) Tetzlaff, Blaise Bildings, Chad (Michelle) Bildings; grandchildren: Brittney (John) Patz, Brock and Kirk Tetzlaff, Austin and Paige Bildings, Brandon Bildings; brothers and sisters-in-law: Rosie Johnson, Pat Johnson, John (Idabell) Bildings, Camilla (Clifford) Holl and Rose Mary Warpinski; nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Jill Bildings; granddaughter, Jordan Bildings; brothers and sisters: Ossie Johnson, June Sommerfeld, Bill Johnson, Arlene Dugre; mother and father-in-law: William and Frances Bildings, brothers-in-law: Robert Sommerfeld, Harlan Dugre, Richard Warpinski; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Sunday, August 17, from 4:00pm-6:00pm and again on Monday, August 18, from 9:00am-10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Monday, with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating and the Rev. Judah Pigon, MF concelebrating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, De Pere. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences at www.cotterfuneralhome.com
