  June Mary Margaret Sommerfeld, age 87, of De Pere, passed away Wednesday, August 06, 2014 after many years with Alzheimer's. On May 9, 1927, she was born to Willard and Helene (Van Straten) Johnson. She married Robert (Bob) Sommerfeld on June 14, 1947. While a member of St. Willebrord Parish, she was very active in church and school functions. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the cottage in Mountain, where she went ATVing, snowmobiling, climbing the "big rock" and going for long walks. She also enjoyed going to bible class and lunch with her two best friends, Betty and Pat. She is survived by her children: Terri (Dennis) Campbell, Deb (Dan) Hoppe, Lance (Cathy) Sommerfeld and Kevin Sommerfeld; grandchildren: Dean (Karen) Campbell and their children Kris and Katie, Dace (Susan) Campbell and their children Arlan, Corban and Declan, Tina Campbell (Fiance Chris Arjona), Tonya (Todd) Young and their children Kierstin, McKenna and Logan, Shane (Robin) Hoppe and their children Blake and Autumn, Chase (Kara) Sommerfeld and their child Tucker, Beth Sommerfeld, Todd Sommerfeld and Laura Sommerfeld. Further survived by a sister, Gladys (Clayton) Bildings; sisters-in-law: Rose Johnson and Patricia Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, daughter-in-law, Margaret Sommerfeld; siblings: Ossie Johnson, Bill Johnson, Arlene (Harlan) Dugre and nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Saturday, August 9, from 9:00am until the hour of Mass at 11:00am.
