    • Mrs. John West Dies at Party; Major in Hospital
      Husband Prostrated as Woman Collapses in Hall
      Mrs. John M. West, 52, wife of Major West, 809 S. Shore dr. dropped dead Monday night while attending a banquet and dancing party at St. Raphael's school hall.
      The major and his wife had attended the banquet of the choir and ushers, and were watching the dancing when about 10:10 p. m. Mrs. West collapsed. Medical aid was summoned and she was pronounced dead.
      Major West, who is connected with the adjutant general's department, was prostrate after his wife's sudden death and his condition became so serious early today that he was removed to St. Mary's hospital.
      Mrs. West is survived by her husband and two sons, John D. and Paul H. both of madison. Major West is a member of St. Raphael's choir.
