      Dec. 3 1904

Arthur Koch died at the home of his father, Joseph Koch, on Doty street, Saturday forenoon at 9:30 o'clock. Although for some time he had been in ill health, the illness to which his death is most directly attributed was of only three weeks duration, and confined him to his bed only about week before the end came. It was diagnosed brain fever. The age of deceased was 25 years, 10 months and 3 days. He was born in Oshkosh, and with his parents moved to this city when about one year old. Since that time he has made Kaukauna his home, except for an interval of about two years, during which time he was employed at Gillette. The young mand has always been popular among a host of Kaukauna friends, who will feel in his death an irreparable loss, and by whom is extended to the bereaved relatives, a heartfelt sympathy.
