Everts, Bernadine C.
Bernadine C. Everts, age 65, of New London, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center. Bernadine was born on July 24, 1943, in Stiles, daughter of the late Alex and Uiva (LePonsey) Skrobel. On November 12, 1966, she was united in marriage to David Everts in Menasha. Bernadine was involved in running the family farm all of her married life. She was a mom and aunt to many and took great care of her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband David; two daughters: Lois (Todd) Tews, their children, Olivia and Sydney, Fremont; Brenda Young (fiance Curt Wickham), her children, Sabrynna and Steven, New London; a brother, Alex (Elaine) Skrobel, Arizona; four sisters: Mary (Robert) Sprister, Kimberly; Beverly Luchterhand, Arizona; Crystal (Charles) DeHut, Oconto and Laurel Aull, Appleton; two brothers-in-law, Alton Techlin, Nevada and Arnold Lamers, King. She is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Bernadine is preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Techlin and Theresa Lamers and a brother-in-law Alan Luchterhand.
Funeral Mass for Bernadine will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lebanon with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally and Fr. Donald Everts officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London and also at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
