    • Old Settler Dead

      Joseph Ambrosius, a pioneer settler of Brown county, died at 11:30 o'clock last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leonard Baeten, in West De Pere. He was 88 years old.

      The funeral of the aged man will be held on Tuesday morning. A requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock at St. Boniface church. Interment will be at Mount Calvary cemetery.

      Mr. Ambrosius was a farmer for many years. His farm was located on the De Pere-Green Bay road. Several children survive him.
