  Mrs. Anton Berken Dies at Age of 84 Press-Gazette Appleton, Wis. - Mrs. Anton Berken, 84, died Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jack Killian, Kaukauna. She had been ill a year. Mrs. Berken was born in Holland May 30, 1865 and came to this country when she was 11 years old. She lived in De Pere until 1898, then moved to Wrightstown, and came to Kaukauna seven years ago. She was a member of the Christian Mothers at St. Paul's church, Wrightstown. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Killian and Mrs. Mike Milton, Kaukauna; Mrs. Louis Vander Bloomer, Crivitz; and Mrs. O. E. Larsen, Eau Claire; three sons, Peter, Wrightstown; Leo, San Jose, Calif.; and Ambrose, Sheboygan; 31 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, a brother. The body is at the Greenwood funeral home where the rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight and Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Mary's church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Joseph Esdepsky in charge. Burial will be in St. Paul cemetery, Wrightstown. Theodore Ambrosius, De Pere, and a sister, Mrs. Leo Baeten, also of De Pere.
