  Al H. Verstegen Appleton Appleton Post Crescent February 17, 2000 Age 88, died Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at the Franciscan Care Center. He was born in Appleton March 6, 1911 to the late Peter and Mary (Daul) Verstegen, Al served in the army in Italy during World War II and was a meber of the VFW. He was also a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He is survived by two sisters: Genevieve Schermitzler, Kaukauna; Cecelia Noffke, Appleton; a brother-in-law, Donald (Marilyn) Brouillard, Appleto; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, many brothers and sisters. The funeral mass will be Friday, February 18, 2000 (rest of obituary is missing).
