- Melody Ann (Tiedt) Mitchler, age 39, died Thursday morning at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. She was born July 15, 1948 in Appleton, daughter of Wilmar & Marcella (Doell) Tiedt. She married Lawrence James Mitchler on June 25, 1971 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Neenah. She was a member of St Paul Evangeligal Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Survivors include her husband Lawrence, a son Todd Lawrence at home; a daughter Melissa Sue, at home, her parents, Wilmar & Marcella Tiedt, Appleton; 4 brothers & sister-in-laws; Charles (Sue) Tiedt, Neenah; John (Pat) Tiedt, Neenah; Robert (Valerie) Tiedt, Neenah; Mark Tiedt, Menasha; 3 sisters, Ellen, Beverly Hills, CA; Dane, Los Angeles, CA; Sue, Menasha; 21 nieces & nephews, 35 great nieces & nephews, & other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law 7 mother-in-law, George & Theresa Mitchler, her grandparents Mr & Mrs Amil Doell, & Mr & Mrs Fred Tiedt. Services will be Saturday Dec 12 at 11 AM at St Paul Evangeligal Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral home in Manitowoc from 4 until 9 PM Friday where a devotional service will be held at 8:30 PM.
